Dear friends - what can 
I say - that has not been said 
About the wonderful love of the Lord -
That could add to His greatness and glory 
That hasn't been spoken or read -
From the lips - of man's 
Common word ?


Such love - that can 
Break even the hardest of 
Hearts - when it floods into the 
Depths of a soul - where the rivers of
Love break through every ravine
Into the deep valleys of 
Darkness below.


Love - that seeks
The lost and the lonely -
And hears the cries of pain in their
Hearts - such love - that reaches into
The depths of despair - and causes 
The deep waters of sorrow
To part .


Love that poured from the
Veins of the Saviour - while He
Hung on the cruel Roman cross - that
Looked out over the desolate 
Landscape - seeking the
Sinful - the broken
The lost .


Yes - lost in our sins
And confusions - that kept us 
Imprisoned - in a meaningless world full
Of care - until God's love invaded the
Shadows - and released us from
A lifetime - of sorrow 
And fear .


O my friends - how 
Deeply God in Heaven has 
Loved us - that He gave us His own 
Precious Son - so that all - who
Believe in His mercy and 
Grace - by His Spirit
Can then be 
Re-born.


Yes - by His Spirit -
He makes us a brand new
Creation - born of His Kingdom above -
And  part  of  His  family - forever - 
And - filled with forgiveness -
Compassion -
and -

His Everlasting - and -

Wonderful 

Love .
